Caleb 16 Months

Time is flying! He is still so adorable and we both had so much fun taking these pictures together!! With Valentine's day just around the corner I thought I would use him as my mini session model. He did great!

 He is irresistible.

We both had a genuinely good time together, big brother was still napping at sunset so he missed out but I love that I got to spend special time with this guy! He was so happy to hold the props and he did his best to put the mustache and lips in the right spot.

Here are a few favorite photos from this past week:

I love that I can still tip toe into his room and watch him sleep.
Watching TV. Blueberry face. He picked out this shirt at the store. He is spoiled and so grown up.
He often has this expression.
Playing in the dirt. It's a favorite activity.

 Playing together.

Yes, that is Archie's shirt tucked into his underwear. He did it himself, big boy! We have been potty training these last few weeks and he has been doing great.

So here are some random, real life photos from the past couple of weeks. Warning, we have ugly couches and toys everywhere, always.

My new camera does great in low light. These pics put it to the test.
Jacob decided to wear his old glasses that he never wears last Sunday. No one made a comment.
This boy finally got his 15 month check up this past week. We went to a new doctor and I think we will stick with him. There are some big changes that we will be making with his diet and we are waiting to hear back on blood work and to see a specialist that we will have to travel to see. He is still at the top of the 90th percentiles for weight and height and his head is still WAY off the charts big.

He got quite the knot on his forehead, climbing has it's consequences.

He is my reader.

This is about as close as they get to playing together.

Caleb 15 Months

So I finally got around to taking Caleb's 15 month photos the other day! A client came over for photos and left all of the adorable props so I put them to use with my boys. Although, the chord Caleb is holding was not part of the original set up, he just NEEDS them (it was either the chord or a bottle or crying). So Happy New Year and Happy 15 Months Caleb!!

"Shazam!!" is among one of Caleb's first words. He has taken to signing lately, mostly so he can communicate with the bottle in his mouth. His bottle has become quite the security blanket. We have about a dozen different sippy cups that he will not drink out of.

Archie will often say, "Mommy, I love you so much!" It is often followed immediately and in the same breath as something like, "Can I please color?" or "I need a piece of candy!" He's got about 2 months till he's 3!
