Petting Zoo

We have been doing a lot of traveling these last few weeks. It's all been road trip style. Archie was a trooper but the car is not his favorite place so it wasn't the easiest thing to do. All of our traveling has been for funerals. Both mine and Jacob's grandma past away within days of each other. They were both wonderful women so it was a blessing that I was able to go to both funerals and see family that I haven't seen in a long time.

I won't post about everything now but I will share a few photos of Archie having fun. When we traveled to the Kansas City area we were able to go to a petting zoo/farm for kids. It was awesome. I wish we had one here in Las Cruces. We ran through sprinklers. We ate ice cream. We saw bunnies, goats, pigs, horses and more and we only went to see half the farm. Archie had some fun interactions with the goats pictured below.

He loves pointing at everything! He'll often ask, "What's that?" when he is pointing high and low.

If I had to guess, he'd be thinking something like this: "Okay Mama, you want me to do what with this? You mean I can't eat this pellet?"

Once I showed him how, he had a blast feeding and petting the baby goats.

There were slightly older goats in the area that we were allowed in to pet them up close. I bought some more feed and the goats practically trampled us! Archie spent most of his time in there running away from the goats and I don't blame him.

We also visited a garden area were they had these fun pictures to pose in.

He looks like quite the hungry and mischievous caterpillar.
If you are ever in the Kansas City area, I highly recommend this place. You can check out their website HERE.
